30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- New subscribers may request a refund within 30 days of their initial subscription purchase.
- Refunds within this period will be calculated as the subscription fee minus the value of any usage (AI credits, API calls, research reports) already consumed during the period.
- Free plan users are not charged and therefore not eligible for refunds.
How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to refund@ottly.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address.
- You can also request a refund through your account settings under Billing.
- Refunds are processed through our payment provider. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to review and respond to your request.
Refund Calculation & Processing
- Because Ottly is a usage-based service, refund amounts are prorated based on consumed usage. The refund equals the subscription fee minus the cost of resources already used.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once issued.
- If your usage during the billing period exceeds the refund-eligible amount, no refund will be issued, but you may still cancel your subscription.
Cancellations & Plan Changes
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access and remaining usage allowance will continue until the end of the current billing period.
- Downgrading from a paid plan to the Free plan takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations outside the 30-day guarantee window.
- Switching between paid plans (e.g., Pro to Max) will be prorated automatically. The unused portion of your current plan will be credited toward the new plan.
Non-Refundable Items
- Usage-based charges (AI credits, API calls, research reports, content generation) that have already been consumed are non-refundable.
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds.
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions may have different refund terms communicated at the time of purchase.
